I dont work for Verizon, a friend does and lets me come into the store when everyone else is gone. All he could tell me was that when the Droid came out, online training was supposed to be completed the Friday before its release

Well if the course is due to close on the 12th (Monday) maybe we're looking at a 13th (Tuesday) or 15th (Thursday) release date(s)?
 
Damn just saw a brand new DROID commerial i have never seen before... hope this doesnt mean they are going to try to milk this cow dry before anything better comes out.
 
So the droid training had to be completed by a friday and was released the following friday?? so monday the 12th with the 19th (monday) a release possible?

Your next mission, should you choose to accept it, is to convince your friend to allow you to take the online training for him, and to procure pictures of each screen in the training program.

ok ok how many people thought their computer was gonna explode? I had to get someone right? right?
 
At this rate I'd expect to see SOME kind of initial advertising or mentioning of the device on Verizon's website or elsewhere soon
 
I think we're looking at middle of the month guys, got a mailer from Verizon today, "You're Eligable", yada yada yada, "Buy a Driod at $199 get any other device Free", with regular fine print about equal or lesser value. Offer good till 4-15-10, don't see them releasing Incredible with this deal still available. Just my 2 cents.

I am pretty sure if we just wait... we will hear that awful ear piercing sound with the weird light... (like every time we get bad news) we will open our eyes and then we will be holding the incredible... but then the sound will start again and we will wake up in 1965 and there will be NO CELL PHONES let alone smart ones... and then it will happen all over again...we can only hope to return to the time era where we are holding the incredible... but there is no way to stay there.... and people will be shooting at us and kidnapping our friends... or are they our friends? ...and the we will know we are in He$$ cause there the phone does not exist. Sound familiar?
 
My Disclaimer: I worked as a VZW RSR until one month ago. I have now spoken w/4 sales rep colleagues around my old market, and also today spoke with a store manager. I trust them all implicitly.

Still no info has been filtered down to retail stores in the market in question. No devices, no dummies, no demo's, no IQ phones, etc. No online training has been released for the device. No confirmation of the device has even been made to retail store managers.

But again, don't be too disappointed. Retail stores are not trusted with sensitive information. They will be finding out, I assume, when we do.

That said, I can't f'n wait. Its really consuming me. And its just a phone. But Geez, I am SO OVER my Storm. I want the Incredible. :mad:
