First Post!
Got my Inspire yesterday (12th). Fully charged last night.
Unplugged from charger 8am this morning. I planned on doing the complete discharge and recharge cycling (as recommended in the manual . . . ). Thunderstorm wallpaper installed to burn that energy.
Switched off bluetooth and wifi while at work. Set display at about 40%. Played with the phone when I had the opportunities - email, facebook, apps, playing with customization and scenes. I took the charger to work so I could charge up after the 5 hour battery death that I have read about so much . . .
Anyway, after playing with the phone for most of the day and evening (wifi on at home), it was still showing more than 30% battery at 10:30pm. So I turned the display to 100% with no time-out, played music, surfed the web, downloaded apps, played Angry Birds, went through every menu I could find, switched off the power saver, etc. Eventually, at 12:20am after being unplugged for more than 16 hours, and with much heavier than my normal phone use, it died.
It has now been recharging for 50 minutes and is at 50% charge.
This is my experience. Yours may vary . . .
