Root i can not stop

I have been rooted for about a month now sense (lol) since then I have been addicted I am on the path to creating my own boot animation and I am playing around with combining a signed bootanimation with an audio file from another XDA source .....no mater what formula I apply I can not get the audio to work.. It would be nice If I could find a signed animation with audio then I can compare the zipped files to mine and have my answer but they all seem to be separated... all I find is the bootanimation.zip---and---the audio file labeled: SPC_animation_final.mp3.. I have renamed this to: android_audio.mp3 & 7zipped them together. but the audio never plays.....any help wou;pd be great thanks

Why did you zip them together? They just both need to be in the proper folder boot zip and mp3 not zipped together.

ahh ok guess that would explain why I never find them together... thanks again mattt.. yo rooted my friends phone with out a problem.. thanks for your advice on that..

Well yes and no. I got a whole bunch of feedback on it. But I'm at work right now some have to post it later. I get the boot animation up and running. With no problem. Earlier I restored to a sense rom downloaded a boot animation and the mp3 file to go with it put it on my phone that works just fine but had to leave. The mp3 as SPC_final.mp3 ( or what ever it was) . Now when I switch back to a asop rom. Can't get the mp3 to play. I even try to change it to the way mister ed posted . Regarding the name you put for the mp3 file..... I THINK ITS IN THE DECS TEXT ... going to have to play with it a lil bit more later on
