Check what Verizon is promising:
+ Improved battery life.
+ Instantly know the strength of your signal with improved
signal display.

I also found it interesting that you can tilt either direction now. I've only done that when half-asleep anyways, so just interesting:)

Will be fun to find all of the other smaller stuff that aren't listed on the page, too. What can I say, I'm a patch note junkie!

Didn't see this posted yet....

Go to www,verizonwireless.com > Phones & Devices > 3G SmartPhones > DROID INCREDIBLE by HTC (direct link) and check out what it says under FEATURES:

OS: Android 2.2, Google Experience Device

Edit: FWIW, here's another screenshot of the entire "Details" section:

so i know this has been asked, but I dont think Ive seen a solid answer...
If Im rooted only (know recovery/rom/etc) just to have SU permissions for hotspot and a flashlite... can I just accecpt the OTA, or do i need to unroot first?
thanx
Danny

Just so you know. I went to hulu.com (which is a streaming tv and movie site) with my wife's Moto droid that received 2.2 last week. It redirects you to adobe that says this:

I'll just put this out there.... I haven't rooted yet, but I'd like the option to root in the future.

Does anyone know yet whether this update will lock the phone? Do I need to go ahead and do unrevoked forever?

I am rooted now but still completely stock i want to stay rooted so what is the best way to upgrade to 2.2? Should i do unrevoked forever and then update, update then root, unroot then upgrade, or wait for a rom that has some of the junk taken out of it and just flash that.

I am leaning towards waiting for a rom that can be flashed so i still have root and everything without much extra work.

I still haven't had my question answered. I'm rooted, but otherwise stock. Do I need to unroot, update, then re-root? Or can I accept the OTA while rooted?

I'm still at 2.1. So I guess you're saying that I need to un-root, update, then re-root... that you can't accept the OTA while rooted.
