No. It's always supported up to 32GB SDHCs.

I'm still at 2.1. So I guess you're saying that I need to un-root, update, then re-root... that you can't accept the OTA while rooted.

you want it officially correct? then yes, you need to go back to stock

Along similar lines, im not rooted but was considering it just to remove a couple of the stock apps. Will i be able to root after the OTA? If not, what do i need to do to be able to root afterwards?

Just so you know. I went to hulu.com (which is a streaming tv and movie site) with my wife's Moto droid that received 2.2 last week. It redirects you to adobe that says this:

Didn't they just start pushing flash to the Moto Droid today, I don't think it was included in the last update. Maybe that's why it didnt work.

Great news! I was just about to go out to my car and grab my usb cable for rooting. I guess I will wait for official 2.2 then see what the rooting gods do with it.

Your welcome, im gonna install the rom rooted and enjoy it, then when tomorrow is released go back to stock and accept it

Edit: Hopefully that means you can remove it without rooting.

At the very least it should reset it back to unused...just don't activate it in the first place
