Root I kindly ask that you look at your box label

I work at metro store and have been selling these phones noticing a pattern on the serials. I am 90% sure if you have a IMEI 9900007700XXXX with S/W MS77010b you have a 1.5ghz one for sure. Reason being after the third or forth shipment of phones the S/W number changed to MS77010c also the Common numbers on the IMEI are 99000077XXXXXX now.

I went to a sales seminar and won a motion that was an early batch 99000077003XXX with S/W MS77010b and after rooting I verified was running at 1.5ghz. I also noticed which i don't particular remember when selling the early ones was the model number it is different, LGMS770SS instead of LGMS770 it also shows on the SKU.

What I do not know if all 1.5ghz are SS or not or mine is different.
I ask that anyone with a 1.5ghz to look on your box and tell me if you see SS on the SKU and on the top row after the 770.

Also found another possible difference but going to work to verify with phones in stock before I say anything. Btw held and played with the Metro Galaxy s3 at that same seminar that day.

Interesting-I just got mine a few days ago .

MS77010c IMM761 build# with no SS in the IMEI-so not the

"Super Sport" version but handles fast turns well.....

Is there an easy way to tell the CPU speed?

Metro is finally responding to criticism about inferior phones it seems with the Motion and the S3.

Many thought the S3 Metro would be an underspecced version-was the one you demoed the fully featured S3 ?

Can you tell us more input about the S3 please? Was it fast/smooth? Did you encounter any bugs? Was there any lag? Was it bloated with Metro Apps? Can you confirm a price range for the S3? Can you confirm a release date? Will it come out with a rebate like the Esteem did ($100)? Is there anything you would like to share that I missed to ask you (goodies/info)?

Antutu benchmark test

I found out that my phone has a not for sale label on the back i guess because it was special stock. Still trying to find usefull differences between my SS version and others.

For those asking about the s3 it was just as smooth thin and as fast as any other variation I have played with. It is supposed to come out the begining of next month from what I was told that it will be around 500-550 not sure about any mail in rebate

the not for sale thing varies.

it'll also say that on the "store lines" they give to some stores, like 1 or 2 phones no bill ;D, but it's not supposed to leave the store hahahahahhahahahahaahahahaha.

So if this is also my build # and software version - can I be fairly certain mine is running at 1.5 Ghz also ?

Does anyone with the above build # and software version have a CPU running at 1.2 Ghz ?

Edit; I have the same build # and software version and mine also tested at 1.5 Ghz. ( 1512 Mhz to be exact ).

Ha. A factory overclocked phone !

Thanks to sammyz for confirming my 1.5 Ghz. test on another thread.(I'm an amateur at this stuff)
