Root i need help with my evo rooted

my evo is no longer pasing from the white screen and i cant put any rom on it
it shows status 7
please help i need my phone back

ok it was fine after i updated some apps
the phone stared turning on and off
so i made a factory reset it was working fine
then i try to updated the software
now is not working any more
is not pasing from the white screen
i dont know that rom it had from the begin
but i been tring to put this ones
Deck_reloaded_357_7zip
sos_x-n_2.0.9.4.zip
the express 3.6.1.zip
the phone take theme fine but when is finish
say asser failed: wrtite_raw_imaging("/tmp/boot.img","boot")
istaller status :7

this what is on my phone

i have clockworkmode recovery v2.5.0.1
 
What do you mean when you say you tried to update the software? Are you talking about apps on the phone or did you try to take an OTA software update?

ok if you did take that ota like rxpert is asking then there might be issues with that. however, looking from what you have now it looks like the ota (if you did install one) did not take.

on that note i would suggest that you update your recovery as it is pretty old and i can't remember if that works with both amend and edify scripting or not. i do remember that the older cwm did not work well with flashing roms going back and forth with aosp and sense. i would suggest that you switch recoveries to amon ra 2.3. you can get instructions from this guide:http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...ooting-dummies-guide-gingerbread-edition.html. skip the rooting process and go to the switching recoveries section.

so switch to amon ra 2.3 and see if you can flash a rom. make sure that you wipe everything except sd card.
 
Looks like a corrupt boot.img from what I can see is the error. After you get Amon RA and clean everything real good (wipe boot,cache,data,system x 3) then try to reinstall one of the ROMs and let us know if you run into any issues.
 
the phone is not recognize the zip file
i dont if is something with the sd card because is not the one with the Root file
i just add a new root file on the sd card and i putted the zips there

i would keep all the .zip files on the root of the card, no folders. just place them on the card.

and what do you mean it does not recognize the zip files? do you get an error? if so what is it exactly?

i tryed to put amon ra 2.3 on the phone but is not doing anything
i follow the instruction that you give and nothing happen
and i want to know if is any way to take off the root from the phone
or some thing i need it working

what does it do when you tried to install amon ra? does it ask you to update? if not then you are not naming the file correctly. it needs to be exactly PC36IMG with no extra .zip. also make sure that you have it just on the card and not in any folders. if you name it correctly and have it on the card, your bootloader should see it and ask you to update it.
 
Also, capital letters matter. If you want to verify whether your file is PC36IMG.zip.zip by accident, just use root explorer or ES File explorer and you will be able to see the full file name as read by the phone.
 
is working but whene i try to do the nandroid backup
it say
SOMETHING WENT WRONG PLEASE CHECK THE RECOVERY LOG!

are you naming the nandroid backups? what size card do you have?

also next time you get that message go into recovery and select advanced and then select move recovery log to sd card. you can then use a file manager like es file manager or root explorer and navigate to the recovery log and open it. you can even use the computer to open the log up. post what you see here, and we can see what is going on.
