Tried to sbf back to full 340 from tbh's gb. Got a "pass" message during the reboot. When I rebooted all I get is freezing in the stock 340 and can't do anything. I thought I perma bricked.. I just had to boot into recovery and f/d reset.

If anyone has this issue, just tell them this fix.

I always factory default when sbf'ing, but it's good to know that it's necessary in this case :D

I got the same thing. Phone was acting really weird.. Did the same thing you did bro and then flashed my Fission back and now I am in love again, lol....

Hahaha, it's ok, it probably would have thrown me off too :D

Well, honestly? It's good to have a bit of panic every once in awhile. Keeps me humble, you know. I'll never forget when I was gTalking with GrandMasterB. He had bricked (He thought he perma-bricked.) He was so panicked. It was kinda nice to see and oldbie panicking. ;)

I though it would be nice to share my humiliation, too. ;)

Don't you always have to boot into recovery and wipe?

The thing about this is twofold. I was worried going from GB back to Froyo. I thought it was rather strange that we should be able to go backwards. Then when I had the funny notice when sbf'ing, I thought, "uh...oooooooh!"

Then when it booted, it continually froze. It never did this before in other sbf's. That's the thing. ;)

Just a reminder for those sbf'ing after GB...

Hold down the DN volume and camera buttons, then press power to boot into bootloader.

Hold down HOME button and press power button, then press the search button to boot into stock recovery.

It's been awhile so had to think a bit when I got a boot loop after sbf'ing. :D

I didn't get a boot loop. I got a jerky 2.2.1. Nothing would open. Weird.

speaking of GMB...where has he been?

And yes. It's always good to have something go wrong every once and a while. Brings us back down to earth!

Just tried to sbf for the first time and everything seemed to be going well until the Loading RAM Downloader for bootloader or something like that. It failed. What could cause this? I am using the RSD Lite 4.9. The error I am getting says Failed flashing process: Interface BP: Error sending RAM download for bootloader. Device API Error

Please help.
