o.k...your phone keeps rebooting. And you are trying to accept the OTA update to fix the rebooting correct? Are you able to update?
The update is download when ever I hit install now it say shuting down then the screen goes black then the phne boots up normally. And it reboots every 2min 30 sec.
You are unrooted correct? Its a week old battery
I cant its not sprint service its flashed to metro pcs.
Yeah, I know I saw the device wasn't rooted, but I've seen people who.ne er rooted their device somehow have a custom recovery on it anyway. That's why I figured it couldn't hurt to check. That's what the symptoms suggest to me, anyway. It happened when he was fully rooted. Any rom he flashed wouldnt be booted longer than the 2 minutes. Eventually we had him run the ruu and then a recovery wouldnt even be installable.
Oh yeah, I was following that thread.i need help with HTC EVO 4g - Android Forums
i need help with HTC EVO 4g
Maybe you'll see something we didnt
Thanks Capt!Oh yeah, I was following that thread.
That device needs repair. Looks like hardware failure (likely some bad blocks), possibly NV corruption.
But I guess there isn't any option there because the device has been flashed to another carrier.

To my knowledge, NV stands for "Non-Volatile" memory. Thanks Capt!
What exactly is NV...a certain radio? If this is off topic then please p.m. me![]()
