Iconia A500 Update To Honeycomb 3.1?

I just bought the Acer for my wife for her birthday last night. Noticed it was on 3.0.1 so I tried searching for an update several times but nothing was available. I am in San Antonio, Tx. Is there something else I can do to try and get the update or just have to wait? Does it seem to only be available certain times/places?

You will have to wait. The update scedual for Acer didn't seem to make any since.
But it should be soon.
If its running good I wouldn't worried much the update isn't really a dig deal anyway.
Half the people who get it don't even know what it is for.
 
Cool.. Thanks. The only issue I can see so far is that it won't see my wife's wifi tether Hero but will see my Evo to access the internet. The calibration seems to be off a little for the touch screen. Will have to read the manual to see if I can calibrate it.

Check the wireless channel number on her phone and match it to yours.
 
The Hero Wifi Tether is likely an ad-hoc connection, the Evo more of a hotspot. The Iconia does not connect to ad-hoc Wifi unless you root it and replace the kernel.
