Ics 6.7.235

I would say early would imply dividing the quarter into thirds (early, mid, late), while you are describing halfs...

Doesn't change anything. If they aren't ready to release it, they won't.

You and I have the same thought process about dividing it into thirds.

However, I think Moto divides it into halves. But I wouldn't mind if they didn't release it until everything is squared away not like the Razr release.

the stock 905?

I downloaded and installed the earlier updates

I am on system version 6.7.2231
build date jun 19

if the latest 7.7.235 is any better, do you suggest downloading it to that and flush it?

or just hang around.

Thanks

Latest is 6.7.235, but once on it you cannot go back to GB, meaning you cannot FXZ your way out of a problem, and you cannot run anything but .235 on your system until a newer leak/ the final OTA is released.

The leaked builds are:

  • 6.7.2231
  • 6.7.2233
  • 6.7.229
  • 6.7.230
  • 6.7.232
  • 6.7.235
  • 6.7.238

All but .235/8 allow you to FXZ back to 5.9.902 / 5.9.905 (GB).

.232 incorporated numerous changed to the framework, making out a lot more usable and stable. If you want to get on a newer build, i (and everyone else i know) is recommending .232 b/c of the ability to use an FXZ to revert in case something goes wrong.

If you're brazen enough to take a chance (and have enough skills and knowledge to fix your phone without any sort of FXZ) then you can try .235 AT YOUR OWN RISK.

FWIW: I'm running .238. But, as i mentioned, you'd better be pretty well versed with fastboot commands and your phone's system, else stick to .232.

Also, in order to install any of the leaks, your phone has to be on 5.9.905 stock. IOW, if you plan on moving up from your current install, you'll need to revert to .905 FIRST before you can install another leak.
