ICS available

It shouldn't be too long though, it seems like new firmware is rolling out on a daily basis for International Note's. If I see new firmware listed for that region I'll make sure to post it in this thread.

Looks like it. 20 days after it was first seen in Germany and then rolled out over the rest of Europe; a week after it rolled out to Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and the US there is still no sign of it for us on the XEU CSC.

I can't actually connect to our VPN until I either get ICS or root the phone. It's a tad annoying.

Edit: It seems the UK is not alone. Canada to is out in the cold.
 
My Australian Note just got its OTA ICS notification. I decided not to update for the moment since I am not keen on bricking my Note, especially since the 32gb version is rare.

Need Help

I have already updated with Kies
& now cant Clean Wipe to factory setting
When i want to Sell my Phone :(

Will i have to revert back to GB
& then wait for update of ICS -
then will be able to clean wipe phone when I want to sell my phone ?

PLEASE HELP
 
I asked this question somewhere and can't seem to find where I asked it, so apologies for posting twice but:

Should I do a hard reset before and/or after I do the official ICS update? I'm preparing myself in advance here for when the AT&T Note gets ICS.
 
The consensus seems to be that the danger of bricking your Note by resetting after the ICS update is only for Notes that have had non-standard updates beforehand, like rooting, for example. If you haven't rooted your Note and it does go wrong then you will be covered by your warranty. I personally haven't needed to reset my Note and all is well, but others have reported post-ICS problems that were fixed by resetting. So if I were you, I'd do the ICS update without resetting and if there are problems I'd then reset.

so i understand I cant do clean wipe & hard reset

But will we be able update software or will have to manually do it ?

when I do the above, I get the message:

"Sorry, you are not eligible to use this service"

I bought my phone in the US, but I'm in HK at the moment
on a side note: when I first got my phone the language was set to Spanish
I suspect a South-American phone....:confused:
