I'm going to put my guess at late Q3.
The phone is fine but the current software is buggy. Very buggy.I'm VERY happy to see this phone get ICS. Being one of VZW's last good 3G phones, it is an amazingly solid device, and has consistently not let me down. I'm glad to see VZW and HTC haven't abandoned it and focused solely on LTE phones.

Agreed, it's a really solid phone. Mine is not buggy at all, works pretty snappy and smooth.
Now that I updated to software # 5.10.605.9, I find that it is very stable and not buggy whatsoever.
I must just have a dud ... I've even gotten calls from HTC developers who are trying to fix the issues for me.
It's warranty replacement time.
Or maybe Sense 5.

This about sums up my worst experience with buggy software version 4.08.605.3
