ICS is rolling out

I just flashed the one from xda sweet :D
So far all looking good just need to test it out for awhile

My next step was to look for one from xda. Got a link? I'd look myself but the only Internet i have Atm is my phones.

Any evidence? Or is it that you are playing much more than usual resulting in higher than usual battery use? I won't know how the battery is like till tomorrow night.

Installed it today, having some slight issues with Internet so far. Facebook for example will work, but downloading from the market or using browsers won't load anything.

Mine's working all fine, no problems at all so far that I know of, as to battery use, seems ok so far, comparable to the .76 firmware, I have been playing with it a bit today as well.

I flashed mine yesterday as soon as the ftf was uploaded to xda so I've been using ics for a day and a half so far, I've noticed a couple of apps being a little buggy but they will have to be updated for ics.

As for the battery though, well it's like stepping back to the .67 firmware it's just draining :(
When I flashed I diddn't wipe off my user data so this could be the problem. I'm gonna switch off my xs tonight and give it a proper charge and see if that helps the battery settle because most of the guys over at xda who have flashed this say that the battery is better than any of the firmwares on GB.
If this dosen't work then I'm gonna flash back to uk generic .75, clean install, and then wait for the official update for the uk.

Well I'm back on GB now, I found the battery life on the swiss ics terrible :(

Hi ... how can I flash a clean ftf to my Xperia S as I wanted to clean up my SDCARD ... if possible reformat it so that it will be fresh ... any simple tutorial as am new with this Android Phone ... :)

have managed to flash firmware on my device couple of times already.

sorry ... my question was not very clear ... is there any step by step procedure on how to reformat the SDCARD on Xperia S.

I wanted to refresh the SDCARD ... reason ... since I got this device have been trying to search for a good firmware that does not utilize the battery that much ...

in ICS, with regards to battery is really that bad ... imagine ... just using the SETTING application for less than 30 mins and it consume for more or less 10% of my battery ...

Really appreciate if someone could help me on this ...

I did read on xda that if you just format your memory card from the phone and then flash with a clean install you should be ok but I have never tried this myself.

I can't seem to update to even the newest firmware? Mines showing android 2.3.7 and build number 6.0.A.3.67. I haven't updated the phone at all since I bought it (April) yet when I plug it into PC companion it says an updates available. I click it, then the program crashes every time. Tried it from the Sony website and the same thing.

The update centre in the phone also says I'm bang up to date, which I know im not. Any ideas?
