Ah so you have the update, if it's stuck on preparing just unplug, restart your pc and phone then try again or you could use sus but that will wipe all your settings and data but your memory card will be left intact.

Or just wait a little longer because I'm uploading ics now

Someone over on the sony support forum has said that 3113 is up on pcc/sus now, they got it this afternoon so have another check

Yay, I am on 1257-3114 and have just upgraded to ICS. It only took about 10mins which I was well surprised at.

It's like have a new toy now figuring out what's new.

Was told by a o2 person that ICS was going to be pushed out on the 20 July.

She told my email and said she would mail me when pushed out. Will update after as only a few days away.

Took the plunge and debranded my phone and am now running ICS. Had a few issues, but only because I didn't have all the correct drivers on my PC at first, but once I did, it updated like a dream.

So far, I like it a lot. Phone seems so much more responsive. Battery life is acceptable - it was 92% at about 8:00am this morning and now (10:30pm) it's only down to 50%. I didn't clear down any storage before updating, so all my apps were still available.

Also, I was one of the people who had the issue whereby when you turned the phone off and then on again, random apps would not be available unless they were re-installed. Hope I'm not tempting fate, but this problem has not occured since debranding and upgrading to ICS.
