I've rooted my G2S. Link to the ICS flash for t-mobile? Please and Thank You!
There are several at XDA. I haven't tried any yet so don't know which is less buggy.

Suk, any links to that ICS you flashed? This is for the international version, not the T-Mobile version. We wont see it for a long time. My suggestion is to root and flash the ICS ROM like I did.

What is taking so long? UPDATE click here
I just downloaded the ICS about 60mins ago t-mobile so far so good
I am going to throw a wild guess here and say that you that is not the T989 or the T-Mobile USA version of the Samsung Galaxy S 2

Ditto - crap detector is pegged on full.
Have i got the correct update ...?
or its from xda, that racer dude. the guy that helps me at the t mobile store used that one and says it works flawlessly
i just went to software update and there it was ready to download so put wi-fi on and done the update![]()
I guess that's possible, and I considered that but ruled it out because he is implying that it is a stock update pushed by Tmo:
To me, it sounds as though he is claiming that it was pushed by Tmo over Kies or OTA. However, I could be wrong. We need more details to know definitively what's going on.
Yes, I see your point. I even went back and looked at some of his previous posts to see what he has but you can't tell. but I was just talking to the t mobile guy this morning face to face at he showed me his I c s on his phone and it is not from t mobile. it was hacked from an at&t update
Exactly. You can't tell. I am skeptical of new members posting wild claims while offering no real follow up info.
There are numerous hacked versions for rooted phones but those are NOT downloaded via the software update feature. And he made it clear that he obtained his alleged "update" via the stock software update.
Forgive my skepticism but I remain dubious and unconvinced that Moota has a stock Tmo ICS update pushed by Tmo that he downloaded via the "software update" feature. Furthermore, to me, it is suspicious that he offers no follow up info.
Anybody have an estimated date to when ICS will be available to T-mobile GS2 users?
It was available at my T-mobile today - I was there but didn't upgrade because I am waiting for the Galaxy S III in about a month.
