I like them. The Incipio Feather is easily my fav case out of all brands. Loved it on my old phone.
May get one of these soon, unless something is wrong with them that hasn't been discovered yet. lol
jbhumph; It's red on my screen. That's the reason I don't trust online photos for product colors when I buy stuff. Colors can look a lot different from different monitors/actual product. ><

Honestly though....the camera part of the phone that reads "8.0 MP" shows as a true red just like the actual phone for me but everything else looks orange on my screen. Weird.
Anyhoo, again it definitely looks like a nice case. I'd be anxious to see more pics on it and hear some reviews. I'm still trying to decide what case to go for now that we're finally getting some quality options after all these months

No point in buying that case unless your going to show off the orange, the black just looks like any other case out there from afar.

I don't personally have this case, but I am developing a case for this phone right now, and I can tell you that no case worth your money is ever EVER going to fit that dock. The best solution for that is to get an easy to open case.

Well i bought the Black case. I think i ordered it on the Friday before thanksgiving. It was shipped after the weekend on Monday and i received it in the mail Wednesday the day before thanksgiving. I was happy that the time it took to ship was only 2 days. I am in California though and i think that is where the company ships them from.
Anyway It is a very nice case. The first layer is a very soft really floppy peice of rubber/silicone stuff. I'm very bad at describing, but if you rub it its kind of hard to run your finger over it cuz its rubbery. Lol.
The second layer only snaps to the back. So the rim around the entire front of the phone is the first layer and right behind that is the hard plastic second layer. It kind of reminds me of the og Droid Seidio cases. It's like soft/hard plastic...
All of the buttons on the outside are extremely easy to hit. This pleases me. I have a Amzer Luxe Argyle case in blue and the buttons were very hard to push. I took an exacto knife to cut out the button holes but I ended up making it look nasty and ugly and the buttons were still hard to push. The Incipio is very easy to push because the Hard plastic case doesnt cover up the first layer of the soft rubber case that does go over the buttons. because the first layer is so soft it makes pushing the buttons easy as pie. You can even easily feel the 2 clicks of the camera button.
The headphone jack opening in the case is nice and big too. With the Amzer, my big Audio technica cans headphone plug would not fit. The Amzer doesn't have a big enough space for my jack to plug in tightly so it would not stay in. Incipio doesn't have that problem.
Only bad thing about it was that the soft rubber first layer seem to attract alot of lint. After a few days of use though it seems to subside in lint collecting for some reason. I didn't notice it being as bad as say the first day i put it on. because the front outer rim of the phone is only the first layer, it was picking up a bit of visable dust. It isn't so bad now.
Other than that its a great case. I love it. It might just seem like any other case out there, but if you look closely to it its got some nice details to it. I always catch myself looking at it. And I like the Incipio logo on the back. Of course it wont fit into my car dock which is A DAMN SHAME but whatareyagonado.
Not to mention the packaging for the Incipio case is really sexy. If there was a store selling them I think every Droid X owner would be attracted to the Incipio first due to the pretty package.

From what I heard, yes. You have to take off the extended battery case, and then it will fit.
For anyone who's interested, the case is currently out of stock. I emailed them and they said they expect to have it available again in 1-2 business days. They also have a notification list which I asked to be added to (I needed to reply to the message I received). Their response time was within 3 hours.

I'm sorry it took me so long to get pictures of the case on the phone. I don't have a digital camera and the only other camera I have besides the Droid X is my old Samsung Flipshot. So they are not the best looking pictures but here they are.

Also shiggins, I think the amzer felt more hefty and thicker a tiny bit. The buttons were hard as hell to push and that is not the case with the incipio. Buttons are a breeze to push. It makes the phone a tiny bit bulky but it really is not that bad. Plus it doesn't feel all greasy and cheap like the amzer did. It feels solid. I love it.
