Until there is an official document out with official specs I won't believe any of this. Who's to say the photo in the OPs post is official, not been tampered with or photo shopped? Not sure why anybody would believe this. Right, can anybody say Evan? Why is it new members always seem to be able to start posts with all this information. The Inc 4G In Hand thread was also started by a new member... Believe it when I see it!!

The only thing that is known for sure is the processor from benchmarks, everything else is all people putting their 2 cents in from supposed leaked pics.

There is no "tampering" going on here. You can do the exact same thing I did and you will come to the same conclusion.....4.3" screen. There is no denying this. Here is the evidence so far..

4.3" screen evidence

  • Leaked pics are an exact match dimensionally to the One S
  • There is no screen manufacturer that produces 4" qHD AMOLED screens, not one.
  • HTC One S and Inc. 4G are launching at the same time (April 25 and April 26) because its the same phone just on two different carriers (T mobile and Verizon)
  • Verizon already released a 4" 4G phone 2 weeks ago to replace the Incredible 2......the LG Lucid
  • HTC Rezound (current 4.3" screened offering) has been on a fire sale for $0.00 - $50

4" screen evidence

  • Absolutely none

If we were in a court of law....case closed.

Well then, perhaps it's not Amoled? Also, it's starting to look as if it won't release April 26th because Verizon would have probably announced it by now.

The lucid isn't replacing the inc 2.

Verizon doesn't announce it much in advance. If anything a week before would be the max. Usually it is announced a few days before.

Already confirmed to be AMOLED. This is well known. Verizon does not and has not ever announced any Incredible until two days before its release. A simple look back at the Incredible 1 and 2 official Verizon announcement dates shows this.

Anyone else?....

Thats funny because it already did :D. The Incredible 2 was pulled from the Verizon website right when the LG Lucid was released. The same will happen to the Rezound when the Incredible 4G is released. Why do you think there is a fire sale on the Rezound....

Incredible 2 replaced by LG Lucid - Both 4" phones

Rezound replaced by Incredible 4G - Both 4.3" phones

Anyone else?...

I was unaware of this. Thanks for letting me know. Also AMOLED has not been confirmed, NOTHING has. Its all leaks for now until something official is released. There's a difference between likeliness, and confirmed. The most trusted leaks we have are the benchmarks, and the leaked pics. But NOTHING is confirmed. You are starting to sound an awfully lot like Incredible4G with your repetitive use of the word "confirmed"

Yeah Verizon likes to keep everything hush hush unless its the iphone because they can't really control those launches.

Ugh that's disappointing. We won't really know a release date til a few days before. I'm really hoping it comes out on April 26th with a 4" inch screen. I'd rather have a better looking screen than a bigger screen, since qHD is very likely at this point. I want to get rid of my old LG Ally so badly lol.

Wow, this thread became popular since last I checked it  :D This phone has a high probability of replacing my wife's original Incredible.

I'm thinking this phone will at least have a 1.3mp front camera. It doesn't really make sense to downgrade a phone from the previous model (even though other specs are better, nothing should be downgraded). Also, we have to remember that the newest leaked pictures we got still might not be the final product. I could be wrong though, the One S has VGA.

Well if it is the same as the one s like many of you are saying then it would have same specs. It is a step up from anything on verizon not to mention it is "mid range" like many on here are saying.

Except the inc 2 is still on their site. If they weren't carrying it they wouldn't have it on their site. Nice try though.

One of the leaked pictures from android police showed a front facing vga camera, 1.3 would be better though!

Correct and its discontinued. You can not and will not be able to order one and you have not been able to since the LC Lucid was released....try ordering one and see for yourself...nice try though...

This thread seems fun... I'll be buying this phone regardless if it is 4" or 4.3", just wanted to critique the OP. I understand you are excited about your evidence, but its not really all that conclusive.

4.3" screen evidence

  • Leaked pics are an exact match dimensionally to the One S
*** that is because they are both 16:9 resolution.

  • There is no screen manufacturer that produces 4" qHD AMOLED screens, not one.
*** this is where you need facts. I work for a company which designs and manufactures products specifically for individual customers, some of these customers being large corporations everyone in the world has heard of. These products cannot be found on any website or in any catalog, and only some of the employees from each company actually know we make them and who we sell them to. It is entirely possible that someone is making 4" screens specifically for this phone and it would be impossible to know for sure until the phone is released.

  • HTC One S and Inc. 4G are launching at the same time (April 25 and April 26) because its the same phone just on two different carriers (T mobile and Verizon)
*** April 26th is not a confirmed launch date. However, it is likely. And there is a really high probability that this is just a coincidence. The shell and camera lens placement are different on each phone, and the One S is all aluminum, the Inc4g appears plastic. As such, the internals will mount differently to the shell (tabs, screw holes, etc).

  • Verizon already released a 4" 4G phone 2 weeks ago to replace the Incredible 2......the LG Lucid
*** pretty irrelevant

  • HTC Rezound (current 4.3" screened offering) has been on a fire sale for $0.00 - $50
*** just making room for the next HTC flagship on Verizon.

4" screen evidence

  • Absolutely none
*** true. We just don't know.

If we were in a court of law....case closed.

*** go back to law school ;) jk

So unless you are an industry insider, I'd say this is just another rumor resulting from pieced-together loose evidence. If you have some hard documented facts, I'd love to see them.

I think Incredible4G has made a few screen names since he was banned, I'm guessing this is one of them.

The Inc4G being 4.3" would kinda make sense seeing has no top tier phone has had a 4" screen in quite some time. Only thing that doesn't make sense is putting out a phone with any spec that is worse than the 'outgoing' Rezound. Still, why would they phase out a phone that is barely 6 months old when the Inc2 has been around for years??

Because if this Is their version of the one s it will have the same specs as the one s. the inc 2 was only out for like a year. Android phones get moved out quick it's the nature of the beast with android.

Well I know a 4.7 fits in my pocket fine so don't care if it's 4.0 or 4.3 inch. As long as it has rock solid features and performance this will likely be the phone I upgrade to next. I have held onto the Dink for nearly 2 years. Because it was a solid well performing phone. I want to replace with the same. Size not a major issue with me.

I think the 4.3" is kind of like the goldilocks zone for screen sizes right now. With a range of 3.7"-5.3" out there, 4.3" seems like a conservative compromize. My current DInc2 with it's 4" has been a wonderful step up from the Eris and it's 3.2" but I think I'm ready for another small step up.
It is hard to go back down in size once you're used to something, so I think it prudent as an individual to make small steps up instead of leaping to a 4.7 screen.
Of course it is a very individualized preference and to each their own, but I am hopeful that this 4.3 speculation is correct :)
