I'm really disappointed that the camera doesn't include tbe new ImageSense chip and that it is f2.2 like the Rezound and not f2.0 like the One Series. This phone should've been a variant of the One S.
I thought I might try to switch from the Rezound at some point in the next year, but doesn't seem worth the cost or hassle.

The difference between f2.0 and f2.2 is minimal, if that's the only difference.

Don't take this the wrong way, but do you know what an f-stop is? I think people get hung up in numbers (megapixels comes to mind) and don't really understand what's behind them.

I believe it will not be able to shoot pics in burst mode. An HTC rep told me that the incredible 4g would NOT have the same camera chip as the one series phones.

I know most people love the big screens but to me it has just been getting out of hand lately. Glad to see a phone is coming out that has power under the hood and for once isn't half the size of a tablet.

Here's to hoping this one turns out to be a winner!

Are we definitely sure that image sense is not part of this phone? You think they would have mentioned it in the release if it was.

The write up on CNET today says the camera can take up to 3 shots per second. Whatever they call it, it sounds like a burst mode:

No matter what, IMO, the camera on this phone will still be better than most camera phones out there. If it equals the Rezound, I'm cool with that because the Rezound's camera is really good.

I've heard and I can't confirm because I haven't seen it for myself, the One X camera is not that good in low light or indoor shots. So I'm not totally bummed if the Inc 4g doesn't have the same camera as the one X.

Well according to the verizon site, it say the camera has BSI and when i googled BSi and how it relates to cameras, I guess it allows better pictures in low light.

That's the thing - the aperture and megapixel count are the only specs they publish, maybe that's all that's different, maybe not. My point is even if the One lens is only a slight upgrade, they've nickeled and dimed this thing to make their One Series superior. Just thought with so much focus on ImageSense in HTC's presentations that the Verizon's Sense 4.0 / Ics model should feature it!

No, as a p&s owner, I'm no expert on f-stop. I know it has to do with the amount light let in based on the lens focal length, and that all the reviews say a lower ratio can lead to less noise/better low light performance. Don't know if f2.0 is much better, but I know I'll take any improvement they can offer in that respect.

I'm an original Incredible owner, I still have it and use it everyday, I still love it. What I love most is the Amoled display, it is so crisp and clear and colors pop.

So the Incredible 4G will have a qHD Super LCD screen.

Does anyone know how this screen will compare to the Amoled?

Now I'm seriously thinking of upgrading to this instead of the new iphone5 but only if the screen will compare to my Amoled, anyone know?

If it's Super LCD 2, then it will be stunning. Majority of reviewers that have reviewed the HTC One X say that the Super LCD 2 beats AMOLED.

I'm guessing not SLCD 2, it seems they built this with last years hardware, but new processor. If it were an SLCD 2, they would mention it as so.

oh well crap... I was all excited about this being my next phone. all the specs and looked perfect for me. although maybe 4.3 might have been a plus but i can do the 4" screen. but looking around i found out that foxfi doesnt work with htc phones. i only use it about 3-4 times a month for about 10 min each time it is pretty important to me to have it. i dont really want to root my phone either.
