Root IncrediLight - LED Flashlight App

For all you lucky folks able to achieve root out there, I wrote an LED flashlight app. It's my first app... This only works with the Droid Incredible and it requires that the device be rooted.

Have fun!

So far after ten seconds of messing around with it, I like it... Mostly the fact that it has options on how bright the light is. Much appreciated app

How did you get root? I thought root has not been officially "released" (instructions) ?

It I may make one suggestion, would it be possible to get the buttons to work as toggles? So that the second press of the button would turn it off?

Okay... just made the next version.. Buttons looks a little more button like and highlight.. When you press the same button twice it now turns off... Time to upgrade...

Nice Work!
Definitely like the program better than lamppu, the different brightness levels are awesome. But on a superficial note, can you work on a better looking icon and/or a widget?

Thanks!

I really appreciate your time and effort. This is now up there with my top reasons to root.

agree w/ Joe T, until it has a widget, i'll stick with Lamppu. If it had a widget that toggled through the settings that would work for me, i imagine a best case scenario, you could have a setting for the widget where you specified the setting for the toggle even. It'd also go far if the widget matched the other control settings widgets in appearance :D

But it is nice having other settings besides on or off!!!

I would pay $.99 if you didnt need root.

Theres another flashlight app out there for the incredible that doesn't require root (and its $.99) but its horribly buggy. Apparently the technique to getting the LEDs to turn on without root is very complicated.
