Root "insufficient space on device"

I envy you all with so much space for apps and then to spare...:p

In about a year I will be ready to root, but then they'll prolly come up with bigger and better phones (I hope) for VM...

Is it typical to loose space on the system after running the code ^?
Lost 28MB space on the system app partition afterwards.

I won't get rid of this tough little unit until they come out with a 4G LTE phone for my plan.

I didn't have a partition and this is the first time in a long time that I can download certain apps without having to lose 70 mb of space from moving the dalvik. I used to have 100 mb available but couldn't download/update apps unless I moved the dalvik file and would end up being able to download/update but would have only 20 mb left and then didn't have enough space anyway (running sentence I know). Needless to say I am thrilled with this script so far and hope it continues to work!

now if only you could change up the hardware in phones like you can with some computers.. hmmm.. building a gaming phone rig.. gives me some ideas that most likely wont work ;)

Someone who I don't remember posted in one of these threads an app that streamlines the useless in your phone-- called Android Assistant.. (I wish I knew who it was to thank him/her) It is a great app! and has let me get rid of a lot of other apps and files that were occupying lots of space on my phone, maybe I should also look into getting a 4 gigs SD card, but I am not sure how I would be able to transfer my stuff from the 2 gigs to the 4 gigs one...
