Is there a stable version of CM for Galaxy S3? I'm looking for 4.2.2

I have the US version, but there should be one for the international as well.

Yeah i tried the 4.2.2 version of CM for maybe an hour n it seemed stable but wifi tethering doesnt work. If you dont use hotspot then go for it :thumbup:

I dont think theres an official stable release but that doesnt mean the lastest nightlies are unstable though.

Funky, whats the international s3's device code?

Example- the US sprint version is d2spr

If I had that, I could link an official version (if it exists)

It depends on which you have.

I9300 or I9305

Ahh, im i9300 but the i9305 is also an international but with a 4g radio so i dont know what the op is on mate :beer:

10.1.2 has all of the latest security patches as well as being a stable release.

Never mind, I don't see any stable cm10.1 releases for you guys on the i9300.

Chalk that up to us vs international differences.

I flashed a CM 10.1 released on 9th of July (nightly version) and I think it's buggy. The messaging doesn't work at all. Not even the third party apps

Well I can't even open the app never mind sending a text. Yes the play store works and I downloaded a third party texting app and it still didn't work. Well I won't need it now anyway since I'll be flashing the AOKP you sent me so hopefully that doesn't have such bug

If you just want an AOSP rom, and not specifically CM, then what about Slim Bean? It has all the features of CM plus it's stable. Everything works for me.

I'm still facing the Messaging problem mate. Could there be a bug in the Google Apps package that I got? Messaging app worked fine suddenly now it doesn't work. I always get the crashing message "Messaging has stopped working"

I wouldn't think it's a gapps problem since anything messaging isn't gapps related.

Have you tried re downloading the rom and reflashing? Maybe even a different build of cm?
