Root [International] Please help! LG G2 bricked. Tried everything!

You can get yourself out of this by fastboot flashing a handful of the D802 partitions if they are uploaded somewhere.

It flashes up with Download mode but then goes back into fastboot mode so I am definitely pressing the right volume button and I have tried it multiple times.

Just to let you know I am now stuck in download mode like the attached.

For your help and others you can install again and this time when you install please reboot the PC/laptop to ensure they are loaded

Ok, well then how is it showing up in device manager? If need be, expand the entire device tree in device manager, then unplug and replug to see what shows up. Even if its showing as an unknown device, it should show up as something.

If it absolutely doesn't show up as anything whatsoever, you may have a bad usb cable.

Or try to change to another USB port front back middle .anyone will do

It recognises the phones when it's in fastboot but not in download mode which makes me think it isn't really in download mode.

LG G2 Recovery and download mode - YouTube

I'm just posting that in case it helps. That's the instructs for getting into download and recovery mode using the external buttons on the G2.

We have a few cases on this phone where black screens can give the impression the phone is off when it isn't. That can cause problems when trying to enter download mode/recovery. If in doubt, press and hold power for 30 seconds to ensure you're fully powered off, then use the instructs in the vid.

So in device manager, when its in download mode, nothing whatsoever shows up in windows device manager?

Are you sure you can't get to recovery using the above instructs?

No, nothing at all

Where are you looking to verify that? In device manager? You should be watching device manager at the exact moment you are plugging into the PC in download mode. It surely must be showing up there, even as an unrecognised device perhaps.

We can't even manually apply a different driver if your PC has zero recognition.

Pay particular attention to the "ports" section of device manager (COM & LPT), and look for anything that might contain "LG" or "LGE" or similar verbage. It may not look like your phone as you're used to seeing it.

Look also for the yellow flags that maybe located in USB at the bottom below com and port
