Root [International] S3 NeatROM

yup did a full wipe today and when trying to restore apps with titanium backup it froze again. Ended up reverting back to omega as my main rom will fool around and see if i can get this running again. i even tried booting into safe mode on neatrom and it froze for me when pressing the menu button. If only i could get the gas battery indicator on omega it would be great.

think there might have been a problem with 1.7 as 1.8 has been release quite quickly.

I cba flashin anythin justnow lol got the mrs new phone to "fix".. its ran out of internal memory on its 1st day... rediculous man.

ok i did a totally fresh install removed second rom formatted system cache dalvik cache and installed the rom and it booted up and froze. I think it might have something to do with the kernel recovery combo and not as much to do with neatrom.
 
We'l have to see how common it is bro but justnow im fine on v1.6 and siyah overclocked to 1.6gh (at home) and underclocked to 600mhz (when its just being a phone) (over 24hrs on battery) :)

......will it ever be possible for rom Devs to push out OTA updates after a manual beta testing period for free or would it cost a complete fortune?
 
Anyone have trouble opening the camera on 1.7 lite?

Everytime i open it with any app it just freezes and says it's closing, anyone using 1.8 lite? is the camera ok or is it just on my phone? :confused:
 
Not sure mate. Im still on v1.6 lite n having no problems.
Lifes a bit busy to mess with unproven roms just now.

Got it working mate, just done a wipe and reinstall of both lite 1.7 and the mods and seems to be working again. I'll see what happens over the next few days :D
 
That does sound good. But ROM's based on leaked firmware always have the same bugs the leaked one does so best to assume it's a few steps back until the official release. But who knows maybe sale could make some some magic could be made with it.
 
If salesale's past form is anything to to the go by with the the SGS2 then I think there is every chance of a 4.2.1 JB leak NeatROM (crosses fingers and hopes).
