Root [International] S3 NeatROM

Hi SaleSale,

Just installed the latest lite version (4.2.1)....

It downgraded my Philz recovery by default to an older version. Please could you make this optional, moving forward? I prefer to be fully in control of the recovery I use. I wouldn't want to replace my recovery every time I flash a rom :(

@SU normally sale has a aroma mod which customizes everything(recovery, kernel, battery mods etc) but for the latest version it has not come out yet.

@burak what version number is the rom? Try booting into recovery and clear the dalvik cache and see if it helps.

just flash the aroma mod for neatrom it gives u an option to select the modem. Otherwise try xda or you can download the omega files app from the play store he has them all neatly there in a single app you can download them.
 
yup use the aroma mod and flash it again and select any modem i select the one starting with DD as thats for india. I just reverted back to the 1.7 and the 1.7a got fedup with 4.2.1 and most of my tasker profiles not working and few other small issues will wait for the official release and for the great salesale to make a good mod of it and then update.

Installation without wipe:

-Download, and save zip file to internal sdcard
-Go to recovery
-Select Wipe cache
-Go to Advanced and Select Wipe dalvik cache
-Select Install Rom SD card



Installation with Full wipe:

-Download, and save zip to internal sdcard
-Go to recovery, Select Wipe data, Wipe cache
-Go to Advance and Select Wipe dalvik cache
-Go to Mounts and storage, select Format system
-Select Install Rom from SD card
Note, first boot takes about 5-10 mins, so don't panic
Reboot device​

Wish id seen this thismorning before i manualy set my phone up again lol :-)
Im never trusting Mybackup Pro again!
 
Yeah i honestly cant remember why i purchased MyBackup instead of Titanium. When i started with android i used a cracked version of titanium.
Just had a look at the free version n it seems fine for my uses :-)
 
ya free will do everything only issue is when u start a fresh u need to install all apps manually( it will auto install but it asks u install cancel for all apps) and in the pro it does it automatically and the amount i fool around with my phone it seemed like a smart buy.
 
cool so which version of neatrom did u flash back today? I also just downgraded from 4.2.1 back to 4.1.2 and ended up flashing 1.7 as there was no aroma for 1.8.
