Root is anyone trying a work around for the bootloader

did anyone logcat while installing? and while it was rebooting????

I got a log from the time the update completed downloading to the reboot. I could try to get it while it tries to install, but again, I'm rooted. So if I would unroot to log the update, it would be a one time chance. (I'd have to downgrade after that to try it again)

Let me know if I should post it.

Okay.
Had to zip it to comply with forum file-size standards.
Also, this is a lot of info, I don't know if what you wanted was more or less specific. This does show the partitions used and the addresses. Near the ends you can see its beginning to reboot... and then it just ends.

I noticed that unlike the Optimus M (where adb notices the device at the beginning of boot), adb doesn't notice the Motion until it is way into the boot animation. Also, I rebooted into the update (before the rooted error appeared) and adb nor the Motion recognize that the device is connected through USB. Logging or debugging the updating process may not work this way, but again, I can check it out later.

Sorry to say but this log appears to have only network connection status related entries.

Yeah figured most would be useless. I wasn't able to log while it booted to the update screen or after.

This is just before though. So it shows the phone preparing the fota pkg before it reboots. The only thing useful seemed to be closer to the end.

Btw, all of that log was recorded in less than 10seconds.

Alright guys I am down to help

I have no clue how but I can upload files or check certain things if necessary

Let me know what I can do
