Ah, a series of leaks! It always feels like they're doing it intentionally to get more beta testers. I remember the Droid X had 4 or 5 'leaked' Gingerbread updates, and the changes often reflected what the community found.
 
My tip was that it would be released before Apples iPhone 5 announcement on September 12th.

But we shall see - not too long to wait though!

agree completely...if you think that OEMs don't pay attention to forums you're crazy...

i don't particularly think its a "on the books" strategy to leak builds to the public...but im certain that engineers will do this to get builds in the hands of people before they submit final builds for testing...mass testers will always find bugs and quirks quicker than a few people in a lab...especially because we tinker so much we find things that a lot of people might never even notice...

the DX GingerBlur leaks were great...i loved getting to run GB months and months before it was released to the public...

I got an update for my S3 today.. Not sure if its JB, but when i bought the phone (got it early last week) i updated it 3 times. And suddenly today i got a notification that there where new sw avaleble.

It dissapeard but after connecting to kies, it said there was a new update.
So i started the downloade and now the phone has gone in "downloade" mode and kies is stuck at 4% for over 1 houre now (probably close to 2 houres)..

I can feel the anger building up....... :mad:
 
There's been so much speculation as to when we'll get JB. It would make good business sense for Samsung to get it out ASAP. But again it depends on the carriers.

IMO those carriers who are getting the new Iphone really don't give a crap when they release JB because they know that they'll make mint on new Iphone. Personally I think it's going to be several month before we get it. I hope I'm wrong though.

EDIT: Updated to LH1, still running ICS :(
 
So, now that the latest reports say September, are we going to get posts every morning at 12:01 am from people saying that they just checked and don't have it yet?- I hope not.

I have found the easiest and fastest way to get the latest new is to simply Google Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean. The latest posts come up every time.
 
the update is coming ... wait for it .. .SOOON!

soon could be a few days, weeks , months at most.

I willing to bet it will be in the coming weeks, but remember samsung said SOON!:p
 
After seeing the new law suit Apple is coming up with we will see it soon... But ironically it might push it back so they can tweak it enough to get around some of the suit complaints.
 
I tried the Omega18 ROM today which is based on the latest Jelly Bean leak and I can tell you it is wayy too far from official release! This thing is full of bugs and even the default keyboard kept FCing on me
