Root Is there any way i can root my optimus v with the zv9 update?

Ok so i got a new Optimus v phone and i was looking for update.zips for my phone and saw that V Mobile had an update... so i downloaded it and installed it to my phone. Then i decided to root it. But when i opened the ginger-break app it never did anything? I searched on the internet about the zv9 update and i haven't seen anybody else be able to root it either. Help? Is there any way out there to root it? I don't want to put custom ROM or anything on it. just for performance tweaks. Any help would be great. Thx!

He's fixing to update the script.
Try the "Even More" link if the other link's are broken.

Ok the "old mirror" link worked but the "WINDOWS VERSION-" download did not.....

Can anybody else help?

You might have to wait until the Dev fixes a few things. He's aware, and mentioned he was going to fix things, so it shouldn't be too long before everything is straight.

You could also use Linux to root. It's what I did and worked just check the thread that was linked above.

Don't you have to have a Linux distro installed on a computer for that program to work?

Here try this, it only flashes a recovery so your going to need the rootme.zip to flash:
Gordita root, extract and run needs adb preinstalled:
download and click Gordita.bat
Gordita-Root.zip
rootme.zip:
jcase_rootme.zip
