My camera stopped working after updating to ICS, anyone know how to solve this problem?

Edit, never mind I got the camera to work again by deleting the DCIM folders and any other camera picture related folder on the SD card, I also had to restart the device to fix it.

my task manager isn't killing the web browser for me, I don't like opening up the browser to what I was looking at earlier. I want it to open up to my home page every time..any ways to correct this?

I followed instructions for the update and now my phone is not working When I start up my evo 3d I get a black screen but the the buttons light up and I can hear the phone when it rings

Anybody figure out how to get the Facebook pictures back into Handcent. They show up fine in my contacts and Handcent uses the pictures I've added manually to my contacts. Can't figure out why the pic's in my contacts that come from Facebook won't show up.

Hello Everyone,

I just updated my HTC EVO 3d to the new ICS and everything seemed to be fine until my phone started to reboot constantly after the update. My phone has rebooted more than 100 times and I've rebooted and restarted my phone more than 3 times and it still continues to reboot! Any ideas how to correct this issue? Please someone help me this is very frustrating... Thank you all in advance for all your help and support!!:confused::confused:

My WIFI has sucked since the updated, not connecting to my home router, forcing me to reset the router. Is this a known ICS issue, or is this a bug?

I installed the most recent updates to the OS and now I'm getting "a secure connection couldn't be established" every time I try to log onto my work's wifi. This didn't happen before and now it's draining my battery quick using 3G. What can I do to fix this? I already took it off wi-fi and restarted my phone but i'm getting the same emssage every time now.

I'm feeling a bit stupid here..... But where are the bluetooth settings after the update?

I see where to turn it off and on, but where are the other settings as before the update?

I'm having issues connecting different devices through bluetooth I didn't have before, such as my Jawbone speaker.

OK, found the settings. However, it is showing I am connected to devices such as my Jawbone, but it still wont work.

This an issue anyone else encountered?

Try deleting the device, and then repair it again. I have no issues with BT and ICS, and my buddy has the same phone and the Jawbone and connects with no issues.

I'm having issues on my home WiFi also, I have to reset my router frequently for my phone to connect. They need to fix this, because its really annoying. It worked fine before the ICS update.

The problem is, if it is an issue you need to report it to Sprint, and also call HTC tech support

Phone not receiving calls or texts while connected to the web browser on 3G after the update. I have no WiFi or 4G acsess so this is a big problem for me. I have to kill the internet in task killer in order to clear the line. This never happened before ICS. Any solutions please?

I am not sure what has changed, but my battery life has been absolutely horrendous since the new ICS update. Anyone else notice this? Is there something running that didnt run before the update in the background? I am getting about 2 hours of heavy use (youtube, games,fb, texting) before it dies. I really dislike this new update :(

Greetings - Two quick questions (one I have queuried previously but no one replied) First off - since the update my voicemail play back is so soft I have to be somewhere absolutely quiet to hear it. Driving me nuts - any else have this and is there a way to turn up the volume? In Settings/Sound/Volumes I have all three all the way up and it makes no difference. Thoughts?

Number two - prior to ICS I had three different icons for each of my email accounts. Used to be you could set one up via shortcuts, now no option for email is offered. Anybody figured out how that is done now?

the bluetooth settings are clickable from

menu>settings, then click the word bluetooth.. it looks like a toggle but its not.

Prior to ICS, you had the option to disallow Sense/HTC to mingle your Facebook friends with your Google contacts. This new update had no way to circumvent this on the front end. I'm hoping there's a way to reverse this? I don't like Facebook tangling with anything else, but I like having the app on the device. Is there anyway around this?

Meanwhile, I keep denying the ask to merge contacts everytime it comes up. Facebook has gotten far too far-reaching...

Also...I want my Android smileys back!!!!

Is there a reason behind why we didn't receive an updated lockscreen with ICS? Or am I just missing something?

No matter what htc device nor firmware your on it will always be the same lock screen since it's sense and not aosp like gnex. If it irks you grab a 3rd party lock screen replacement like go locker or widget lock screen. Or if your a root user flash an aosp ROM.

Oh I figured with a Sense update they could have redone it! I was just curious, thanks for the recommendations I'll check those out.

I haven't rooted this phone, haven't really had the need.

Thanks!

Before the update I use to be able to set my notification sound for my text messages to silent. This allowed me to use Ring Pro and set different sounds for different contacts. The silent option under notifications doesn't seem to be available anymore... any suggestions???

I was told by the girl at the Sprint store you cant silence the ringer and notifications separately with ics. I don't like that. I also don't like not being able to remove the music icon while in dock mode.

My poor phone is useless since this upgrade. Nothing works. And I have been on the phone with HTC and Sprint constantly since an hour after accepting this ICS garbage.

Neither Sprint, nor HTC has had a single helpful suggestion... Anything they have suggested to fix anything has not only not helped, but in several cases, made things worse.

Worse still, the customer service reps, especially at HTC yell at me because their companies so called upgrade is not the more functional product they keep telling me it should be.

I miss my phone. It was so perfect before and now it's junk.
