Has anyone tried the option in juice defender ultimate that enables and disables background data?

It gives this scary ass warning about force aosp install or something and I'm too chicken to try.

Anyone done it?

So you went through the "ar you sure" questions that pop up like 3 times and it said its not compatible?

I'm on #2 with a semi custom theme and it will let you do it. It will reboot your phone and then give you the option to let it control auto sync, but I didn't like it and generally wouldn't recommend it. You'll notice that certain things don't work quite right.

Wouldn't recommend it huh? Hmmmm. By certain things not working right, do you have an example?

Try it yourself . You may like it. One example is when you connect your phone to a computer via usb it will throw it into a loop and it is difficult to access your sdcard.
