Jelly Bean Is Live

Since the Sprint version was just updated also I would imagine that there will be a root exploit shortly. :D

Nope iam going back to FJ12 rooted !!!!!!!!

Not matter what I'm sure you will loose root after the update.. I think I'll wait till we have a rooted repack.. I've tried the update on my wife's phone and it's very nice

Yeah, the update is worth it to those who prefer unrooted stock. I would expect a repack kernel in the very near future for those who don't ;)

It's nice this phone is being updated at all and it's worth the patience of awaiting a repack; root method. I remember all to well having the Motorola Triumph and literally BEGGING for an update :D

Hey BlackGravity was it worth losing root in order to update even though we have a 10.1 here for us to use?

i'd say yes,we all know this will get rooted soon enough. has a few things in here thats new also.like texting,if you are in texting mode just hold the phone to your ear and it will call the contact.

same here! i was so glad when we had some DEV's work some rom for the MT.

So, I have had time to play with this, much better than the leak. Smoother, cleaner and more respondsive, not like FL24. It was sorta choppy, I like this.

I still have an unactivated Galaxy S2 sitting here waiting to be sold on Monday. I think I'm gonna upgrade to GB28, play with it for a bit, then return it to stock GB28 :) I just can't resist :D

Thats just cus ur victorys smaller screen and camera quality makes this phone still vms flasgship

I got a 2800 which was worse then when I ran quadrant on ics!

Quadrant is pretty useless, when a module crashes it takes that as the time the test took to complete, the results are never repeatable, use Antutu Benchmark if these things really interest you. :D

If you're trying to go back to stock then I would use mobile Oden..

There is a one click of this rom on xda. There is a rooted version as well. I saw it last night and downloaded it. I am not at home or I would post the link.

Here's a shot of the (GB28) JB lock screen with shortcuts on it.

I used Kies to do the update; No issues...

Yeah, a bit more battery usage, but I hope that stabilizes a bit after I let the battery run low and recharge it. Software may need some new calibration base lines. No more "99%" full charges with JB.)

All I see is gb27 on xda which is for sprint.. How bout gb28.. The virgin mobile variant.. Can you hook us up with a link of that?

I need a one click.. Or zip or tar. Just as long as it's already rooted..

Could we not use a repack kernel for the GB27 to flash SuperSU?

When I first got this phone right after it came out we used an Agats repack kernel made for Sprint's version to flash SuperSU.. before the OneClicks were available.

Well, downloaded the exe to find out the installer doesn't support windows 8. That's cool...not. Guess I'm waiting for a one click installer.
