Jelly Bean notification bar color disappointment !!!

Looked fine as black or grey. I did not even notice they changed it till he pointed it out. it looks fine in grey. I bet there is an app to change it out there.

You act like he got it for free and is just complaining anyway. He paid the money for it, he can complain about it. I think the fact that the notification color is his only complaint says a lot about the phone, so calm down. The last statement is just ridiculous and generic.

I know that post is old, but I felt compelled to reply, anyway.

I didn't even NOTICE it until reading this thread. Like another post said, you guys need to get out more! People of the world are starving to death and others are worried about a dark gray status bar over black on their phone? I yi yi...

I think not. We're worried about a dark gray bar while others in the world are starving? Seems like your gray bar is pretty trivial compared to if you went without food for the next week. Does that help enlighten the comment?

You got an expensive smartphone while children are starving in Africa. You're worried about what other people are worried about while children are starving in Africa. You're on the Internet browsing a forum for your expensive smartphone while children are starving in Africa. See why it's a stupid comparison? Stop acting as though you're morally above people as if pining over kids in Africa (they're far from the only ones starving, FYI) will help them any.

Whoever mentioned Africa Syrup? And I give to and volunteer with organizations that feed people so before you judge me for something you have no clue about, you should stop and think first.

I never said you didn't. I said you're acting morally above people because you throw "children in the world are starving" around over something entirely unrelated. I judged you no more than you judged OP and me, OP especially by saying he "needs to get out more" for taking the few seconds to make one thread about a small issue.

My notification bar is black, always was. Black with ICS, and still black with JB. What's the big deal anyway? Maybe it varies by service provider? I've got AT&T.:rolleyes:

i have an S3 w/ AT&T -- just got the update this past week. (i don't know why they're so slow. even some tiny ass provider was updated before AT&T, anyway) and all the pictures you guys posted of the status bar is exactly what i see: gray.

except for Metfanant -- are you sure you have JB (haha)? what's your secret?

what's the fix?
 
Dont know if its been said but Neat Rom is a very touchwiz bloat free 4.1.2 rom for international s3 and has the jet black status bar :)
I really dont know what Sammy were thinkin... thier UI designar has terrible taste!
