So far everything is okay after update to JB no issues with battery drain, have disabled apps i don't need.Only thing i have noticed there is no short cut for task manager on my app screen unlike ICS.I have had to activate JB task manager widget on my home screen to access it.
Thanks for the tip i guess i should download the JB guide.Or u could hold down home button and select the TM icon

Hi sorry if i am posting a question that has been answered allready or if its been posted in the wrong hread, as this is my first time posting!
My question is... I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 on ICS 4.0.4. It has never beem rooted or flashed before, so I would like to update it to Jelly Bean stock firmware via Odin, however as the phone is locked toT Mobile UK and all the Odin jelly been tutorials state that the phone must be factory unlocked before updating the firmware. So as you can see i am stuck here so can someone please tell me if i can still update the phone via stock firmware even though it is carrier locked?????

Hi there. Just wondering if someone can help me out. Ive got jelly bean vjsm4 firmware but I didnt realize it was the claro build. I've downloaded the xwlsw firmware now and I just want to know if I can install this firmware on my phone using Odin. Thanks

As per #1.7 of post #1, you can flash any firmware you like for your model of phone via Odin, either locked or unlocked. For UK, I would suggest unbranded XEU firmware LSW, which is the latest, as T-Mobile UK and Orange UK have not released their Jelly Bean at this time.
