Root Just how up to date is the staff pick ROM list?

Reason being, I'd like to try a Sense 4 or recent popular AOSP ROM. Any suggestions? I'm not one to screw w/ kernels much. I personally lean toward Sense, but also wouldn't mind trying the latest and greatest AOSP.

Yes siree:D everything in that sticky is up to date. Thanks to ocnbrze:)

Ocn is still keepin this forum on lockdown!!!

Just a bone to throw to you not-yet-so-brave-to-flash-something-not-yet-listed-here, uhm... there are tons of roms that people put on xda and updates for them that you might not see here (thats not to say that the guides here arent the sheeyit (cuz they are)) but its kinda hard to keep up with everything posted over there. Anyways, make a nand (including data, but you should usually not include it cuz it takes up waaaaay too much space and is usually not necessary), factory reset and flash away. Who knows, you might find something that works better for your phone than others'.

Something to remember with the evo in particular, each phone is different and they react differently from one another to the EXACT SAME setup. e.g. i could flash a rom and kernel combo after wiping the previous stuff in the exact same way that you did and have a different experience than you doing the exact same stuff. Our evos are fickle beasts, and are nowhere near the same with regards to how they react to rom/kernel combos (oddly).

yeah i try and keep the list as up to date as possible. but i'm only one robot with only two arms so there is only so much i can do in one day.

and i have selectively added roms i thought would suffice to the list. like doofus said, there is a lot of roms out now that i do not think i need to add it in here. however, if you see a rom over at xda or mikmik forums and you woud like to see it added to the list then by all means please let us know and me or other guides can add it to the list.
