Root Just SBF'd, something went wrong?

I needed to SBF back to factory settings, and I did so following these directions:

- Unzip the 2.2 sbf to a working/temp folder
- Open RSD Lite, tap the

The sbf went fine and RSDLite said it was finished. So I unplugged my phone, and rebooted it, except now it always just immediately boots back into the bootloader. It says:

Bootloader
30.04
Err:A5,70,70,001F

New_MAP Blank
Service Req'd
Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable

The directions indicate that at this point it should boot back back like from the factory. What am I missing?

well i can see from bootloader 30.04 you should have been on .340 ...which sbf did you use...hopefully not the 2.2/2.3.15

There should be a way out of this. You probably just need to make sure you are flashing the correct sbf like my bro gemanfan says.

Parts of that guide may be a bit out of date. Please tell us what version of android you were on before and what your current sbf version says it is. If you do that we can help you through this.

That should do it.

The DX is brand new, so I am fairly certain its 2.2.1, and the SBF I flashed is "VRZ_MB810_2.3.25_1FF_01.sbf"

yes its kind of similiar as it essentially creates a boot

I think its working, it just rebooted and flashed up the Liberty rom boot logo. Which is kind of ironic, considering I was trying to get rid of Liberty. I am new to the android lines (from BB), and the Liberty rom just did not provide enough...crutches. Too open, too free. Blur had some built in stuff that will be more helpful for me to learn the phone. Eventually I am sure I will move back to a custom.

great glad it worked man,,,,,if some blur is what you want to ease into it(i prefer blur)...you may want to try apex or darkslide ,,,heres a few links,,,dont let this hiccup stop you

It went into a boot loop, so I followed the directions and took care of that. It just booted into stock droid. Thank you to both of you.

I don't mean to jump in but I are confused as to what the correct sbf is when you where on the over the air update 2.2.1/2.3.340 where can it be found.

My current android version is 2.2.1 and the correct sbf for me was Droid X: 2.3.32 Full SBF

Edit to add: The problem I originally ran into is that the sbf in my original post was for 2.2 but my version was/is 2.2.1.
