Root [Kernel][Linaro] Zippy V2.2 {UPDATED 9/27/14}

I would redownload.

I have it re-downloaded, but the cwm recovery says my phones MS323 does not have a officially supported CWMR.

Phone still does not show it in the sd card file, but it's there, I can see it when I install the sd card into my computer.

That's what im getting. When I click install, it does a quick re-boot, shows the little green android guy and then it disappears and goes back to my main screen.

thanx for the advice android members, got it set up now. mine is set up:
Govern: intelliactive
Sched: noop
MHz max:1190
MHz min: 600

ROM Manager is not supported. Stop wasting your time with it. Please re read the threads here for installing CWMR because otherwise you ARE going to end up bricking for not reading. ROM Manager is a dangerous tool if you use it wrong.

How do I go back to the original kernel? my battery has been draining way too fast ever since I installed this kernel. I use the same options as Sammyz and my battery doesn't last as long. Whenever it's in sleep mode it drains fast and there's a long delay with the Ambient light sensor whenever I remove my face from my phone, I guess it's thed kernel since it's never happen until I installed it.

Just DL the stock one in the first post and flash it in CWM recovery.

Ok, thanks. I didn't even noticed it was there, lol. it doesn't matter that my version of the kernel is "B" and the kernel that's posted is for "A" ? silly question, I just don't want to mess my phone up.

The Kernel was built off the B source but should work fine with software version A as well.

I use Ondemand and sio scheduler and i like it, good battery and performance. Max - 1190, min - 300. I'll try some of your guys setups.

I flashed the Zippy kernel, then went back to the stock one, due to battery life. I would get almost a solid 24 hours of heavy use before I flashed that kernel, now even with the stock one back, battery life still sucks. Can't even get 10 hours of minor usage.
Should we be wiping anything in CWM? I didn't see the option to wipe battery stats. I did see a calibration tool in the Performance app but have had issues calibrating batteries before. I liked that kernel but cannot deal with only a few hours of battery life.

Ok so i flashed this in cwm and it says
Installation aborted but when i turn on my phone i have the performance app?any clue what happened?

Still use Zippy ;_; why is everyone dumping Zippy :c
+1 with the setup i have it now works well. charge battery nite before, unplugged it @ 6AM, stayed @ 100% until 10AM. with average use, now plugged in for charging from 15%. so for me is working.

Is there any other tweaks or settings such as the battery calibration or something else that those of us with terrible battery life may be missing?

what i did was flash stock A first, than zippy. than reboot. went to my SetCPU app clocked it & set the Governs & Sheduler. & works fine.

This is what i got after downloading, removing, and doing it all again. Not seeing kernel on here.

Your download must have either gotten corrupt or was incomplete. Just re-download it. Same thing happened to me and that's how I fixed it. ;)

The DL worked, SetCPU shows/showed it installed, was just eating my battery. Reflashed, battery life seems better but now CPU, governor, and scheduler settings won't stick.
