Help Me Keep Zippy Going

Imortant!!!!!!

After Installing Zippy, Open the Performance Control app and slide to the right. Make sure "Intelliplug" is checked!!!!!! Now slide back to the right and do not touch the screen for about 5 seconds. Make sure the second Blue box above the Speed of your CPU is black as explained in the images below. If everything is correctly done your phone is ready, Dont worry if the second box turns blue again its just indicating that Core 1 is online. This is how you know your phone is saving battery, when pressure is not requested, Core 1 will always be offline and when pressure overloads or in this case your touch the screen while using your device, Core one is turned on to help smooth the performance. Core 1 should never be Online for more than 30 seconds without you touching the screen or playing a intense game that requires a lot of CPU.

WOO HOOOOO! That is fan-frikin-tastic! You got one for ms323, B version? Ill take one if you got it man. All I need is one. LOL, like an addict.

I tested this Kernel on my B version (Variant MS323), with no issue and its not giving me problems at all, go ahead and try it if you like :3

Zippy kernel would be the only thing you would need, since the A Kernel is just optional (I didn't need it to install the Zippy kernel), you can just go ahead and install the Zippy kernel.

To install it you would need CWM recov. on the phone:

1. Use rebooter from playfulgod (found in play store) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.playfulgod.rebooter
2. When booted in CWM, select [install zip]
3. Depending on where you saved the zip, you would either select [choose zip from /sdcard] or [choose zip from /external_sd]
4.Look for your zip file to where you saved it accordingly and select it
5.Once it is selected, choose the option [Yes] when it asks you (Confirm install?)
6. After installation, go all the way back to the start, and reboot (Fix root?) may be asked and select [Yes]
7. Profit :3

Ok now here comes the stupid questions. I've got the zippy kernal installed and have gone into it to see what is there.

How and which settings from Performance Control panel need I be messing with? I don't want to make any changes that aren't going to make my device perform better or more smoothly. Does anyone have any tried and true settings that they have confirmed working on the L70?I do see that I can now do away with Set CPU app are there any others we should know about? I see I can also do away with SD speed increase also.

Its seems this is working on MS323 users as well on firmware A and B. How is the battery life for those who have been using it so far? Thank you for developing a kernel for this device.

Need some help PLEASE !!

The file is downloaded and is installed on my SD card, but when I go to CWM it doesn't have the file ANYWHERE. No idea what to do at this point !!! How can I install the file if CWM doesn't show it on the SD card, and I can't manually get into the boot screen !

I got into recovery mode but its telling me to install firmware update, sits on the update screen for 20 minutes and nothing happens, stays at 0%.

Do I have to Partition the SD card in order for the kernel to be visible on CWM Rec ???

EDIT ----

I got to open the kernel in CWMR, I select it, it reboots, android guy shows up on the screen with a blue line going through him, phone turns back on and goes to my main screen.

Went into my setting and kernel is still not installed. What am I doing wrong ?

Wondering what CPU Governs & OI Sched. most of you guys are using?
my battery life gets drain real fast in sleep mode  right now mine is setup as follow, Max:1190 MHz Min:600 MHz, Govern: performance OI: cfq

Good question! I have been trying different Gov/OI combos and still have not found a good one for me. But, yes, if you wanna save on battery life, performance is not the way to go.
