Root [KERNEL] Plague Overclock Kernel for LG Esteem MS910 - UPDATED!

ok im using the new 1.8 version of pk and i can verify that the upload bug is fixed! it uploads pics and vids with lightning speed! @1.7 im not going to push my phone up to 1.8 yet!!!!
but the HDMI still does not work!!!!!!!!
but to me its worth keeping on my phone for now untill
a resolution is found. its only a matter of time.
but other than that this is bad ass!! exelent work!!!!!
and, i recomend autokiller for your memory management!
when i had stock memory i had some problems with the oc, but i used
more strict memory options with this memory manager and my phone
flys now! my memory limits are 6,8,15,100,140,200 ''foregournd, visible, scondary, hidden, content, empty''

Glad its working out for you!. But i don't think you need auto killer since ROM toolbox already provides an auto memory manager. ;)

Thanks that's the same settings I have I tried it on performance which caused crash or reboot, that may be why people's phones keep booting or crashing they have wrong settings. Thanks tho for some reassurance!

The performance setting sets you to max setting you have set non stop. Its just like setting the min to match the max

I always bump the mix up a notch. Running the min at 368.

Ok so i just flashed the 2ghz kernel and in cwm it says "back menu button disabled", and their right haha..screen just locks..

any ideas?

*DO NOT REGARD THIS QUESTION*

I'm running cool on 1.9 mhz when im on 2 mhz my phone is cool until about 20 mins my phone reboots so staying at 1.9

I posted this already. Hit both volume keys in cwm to enable back button.

That doesnt always work. I got stuck in it the other day. Started hitting a bunch of buttons and the menu went away and wouldnt come back and was forced to do a pull

Lol panic mode? Never got stuck on recovery where the menu wouldn't come back. I just hit power to get back to menu then figured out what the enable buttons were and worked fine after.

more like mad mode ahaha Ive had it happen before and was able to reenable it but couldnt that time

I don't want to sound like a moron, but, is the 2 GHZ overclock safe? Any flaws?
mines been sitting here for 2days on it n not rebooted once. nice thing about android, if u oc it to high it just reboots. So play with a setting a bit to see how it handles n you like b4 setting on boot to it. ;)

i was tinkering around with the three kernels and min/max setcpu settings to see what is best for my phone and here is what i learned today

Setcpu settings worked best at these
min 1024
max2016

and these where the best scores possible for my device (not bad if i say so myself lol)

with your min set at 1024Mhz your battery life is gonna flat out suck!! ;)

after the phone bricked like 4 days age or so and i replaced it remember i re-rooted and uploaded the CWM that's the day i also did the kernel and i had min/max in setcpu set to 1.7GHz/1.7GHz so for how ever many days that is its been maxed on the first kernel until today and my battery life actually didn't change at all or at least i didn't notice a change

i think it will be ok but ill test this for you and let you know tomorrow night how my battery did...
