Root [KERNEL]SpeedDemon V5.6 (Performance & Battery Improvements) - MIUI Kernel

Thru CWM?
Would you be so kind to describe steps?
I am pretty sure I am not alone around here with this question.

Do you have Clockwork recovery? if you do on the main menu select advanced> then select> wipe dalvik cache> then scroll to yes and select it after this dalvik cache is wiped

Next hit back to go to the main menu then select install from sd card> then select install zip > now navigate to the speeddemon kernel and select it> scroll to yes select it and when this is done reboot to system

You should now have speeddemon installed

So I haven't been able to set my incredicontrol voltages at all. I can change them and incredicontrol gives a "Preferences Set" popup notice. But when I open incredicontrol again the values are back at stock. I am checking the apply on boot box too so I'm kinda stumped. I was going to just do a completely fresh install of miui, the kernel, and all my apps to see if that fixed anything but I'm wondering if theres something else I'm not doing or what before I go ahead.

I really like this kernel though so I hope you do find some time for it.

did you reboot after it said preferences set?

Yes, I had got SLQB allocator, and had set it to default. It seems the triumph doesn't like any other allocator besides SLAB.

V4.5 is good, but there are two specific things that I would love to add to make V5.0, V5.0 should be a stable(ultimate) version

Just wanted to say thanks for this sweet kernel. I can finally push a whole day out of my Triumph with heavy use. Wondering if you will continue to update this kernel? As I am sure there is room for improvements..

I gave this a shot and I'm getting the sleep of death even without overclocking. Any ideas?

Edit: I thought I had the latest version of MIUI, but I did not.

So..where s 4.5?

I installed 3.5 on the "last" MIUI, nice steady overclock to 1.5, battery life is shorter than before though.

not yet, he is waiting to release that right now, if you read up in this thread he is waiting to release the next version until there are more posts.
I'll give it a try when it is ready.
I am getting excellent battery life with the latest mOCk kernel.
Not so with 3.5 SD and latest MIUI.

Many thanks to OP for his efforts.

Are you gonna update this kernal? to the latest miui update. I think this kernal is by far better than that off the mock miui kernal who freezes all the time....-.- I want this kernal but once flashed to the new miui rom it gives miner bugs...like not letting the hotspot work...
