Root [KERNEL]SpeedDemon V5.6 (Performance & Battery Improvements) - MIUI Kernel

Okay so I know nothing about over, under clocking what should I set this for if I want decent battery conservation without sacrificing overall smoothness? Can you guys give me some presets and help me understand more?
I saw the full list in the OP but this is pretty Greek to me.

Using nofrills to underclock
I usually set the scheduler to noop.
governor to smooth ass
122 min.
768 max.
Using incredicontrol to undervolt.
I set all values 3 steps down.

I never overclocked that much because 786 Mhz is quite enough for daily usage.
Overclocking gives you better performance and speed but takes up more battery.
Ideal for gaming

the day speed demon 5.7 comes out.
is the day I jizz my pants.

I downloaded and flashed this kernel but it stuck at the splash page. Got back in with mock kernel (which works find on my phone) and deleted and redownloaded the kernel. Flashed it again and it worked but now it reboots itself after about 5 minutes. Flashed back to mock kernel and all is fine again. Any thoughts as to why I can't get this kernel to work? Also another dumb question but can you reboot into cwm with the phone on in miui (like you can in cm7)? I have been having to power off and reboot into recovery.

Well I need to know(you need to do) these three things before I solve your problem.

1. Did you Wipe Dalvik Cache Then Flash the Kernel?
2. Are You Running MIUI GB-1.11.25- By Isaac
3. What Changes Did You Make Between, First Flashing The Kernel & When You Started Rebooting?

~~~
You need the extended setting mod for MIUI GB to extra option in the Power Menu...
I have the extended settings but do not see the power mod in the miui control (unless that is a different thing).
Just remembered I wiped davlick after flashing as well so before and, after. Could that have caused the rebooting? That's the only thing I can remember doing differently.
You need to wipe dalvik cache; flash this kernel again, but don't do any changes(over or under-clocking, changing I/O or Governor, and Don't change voltages). Google 'extended setting mod for MIUI GB', it adds more options to power menu(the menu that shows up when you hold power button at lockscreen).
I have the extended settings by Andy Thompson but it was the zip from his first post. Is it the last kunon update I should add? Most of the rest of the Google search were roms it seemed.
Seems this is only happening to you, maybe extended settings dont like SD Kernel.
Make a backup just incase this doesn't work, clean install MIUI 1.11.25(dont install extended settings) then install SD Kernel. See what happens...
Looks like it is a problem with extended settings and the Kernel. Kernel flashed and worked fine with out extended settings. Put extended settings back on and all is crashing again.
Performance improvements...
Edit:
UPDATE CANCELLED,
sorry to inform you guys but my HD on my Ubuntu laptop just crashed. With all my data lost I can't continue to update SD Kernel...
Bummer. Did you have anymore projects on there?
