Root [Kernel]{ZVD}Speed, Speed_Unlshd & Stock/Root Kernel(s)

nooooo!!! never flash anything from rom manager except for recovery lol even that is not safe it reccomends a wifi connection lol, always flash with cwm or adb push

Haha, I did it anyway. I think all I did was Flash CWM recovery, I read to do that in an "Update/Root ZVD" guide. I always flash from within CWM, anyway. Thanks for everything, your ROM, your help, and the amazing Kernel.

Guys I am still stock nobody answer my question :( I downloaded the kernel is on my sd card but when I use rom manager to install from sd card zip nothing comes up.

1. dont install it thru rom manager

2. if you downloaded through our phone than its on internal sd in downloads folder, but i would suggest downloading from a pc than copy to sd card for garunteed error free install

no the kernels both have the same name lol, i dont know how to rename them but if you flashed it than you should have it :D and your rom will be a little faster

Very, very nice so far.

Running stable(stock zvd rom) flashed over plague 2.2,
Phone much, much more responsive / snappier....and had already tweaked sensitivity settings near max possible.

Will report re battery life tomorrow.

drift can you please tell me the min free settings, so I can do it manually?

I have ROM Toolbox and in the kernel tweaks section I see:

Min Free KBytes - 4096
Dirty Ratio - 20
Dirty Background Ratio - 5
VFS Cache Pressure - 100
Oom Kill allocating Task - unchecked
Apply on boot - unchecked

What should I change the values to so that it is equal to your speed kernel?

Not sure off top of my head.. same values used in plague 2.2 kernel.. ill get them for yu when out work

Sent from my LG-MS910 using Tapatalk

mine shows....

min free 2048
dirty ratio 95
background ration 60
VFS cache 50

think this is the stock rooted kernal....on the 1.8 debloat Rom I think lol

I have the same problem. It started as random this morning and sometimes it loops and reboots several times in rapid succession. The kernel was screaming until this happened. I thought I was going to donate, but I'm still waiting. I don't know wtf the problem is; I'm not blaming anything. I'm just saying that his issue is happening to me.

Two weeks to one month after I get a working phone, I'll donate again. I was never happy with the optimus and I've not been happy with esteem. I'm at the point where I might just stop using cell phones altogether.

It's important to say this, because the "perpetual victims" will always "get offended" whenever an opportunity presents itself. I'm unhappy with Metro and LG; not with our devs whom I have great respect for. These guys are actually fixing all these problems that we bought from these shoddy companies.

I am simply sharing my experiences and my approaches to our common problem. I do not use many transitions and I don't often explain myself because nobody bothers to read it.

NOTICE: if anyone is "offended" please let me know. I'm developing my meeting craft to avoid arousing emotional sensibilities in the masses. Your help is appreciated.
