Root [Kernel]{ZVD}Speed, Speed_Unlshd & Stock/Root Kernel(s)

I'm just saying what I did, I want to do things right! is it still going to work like it should? do I need to start over at the beginning with clean install of LD-LG ZVD 2.5?

You should be alright ...I just do it that way everytime. Go into your about phone and what does the kernel version say?

gbiggie Thank you for helping me!:) from day one you've been there for me THANKS LOTS!!
How do you know that it took the kernel? by what I sent you?

When you flash a kernel the kernel version should change because the developer changes the name.
you can only change the name when you build the kernel from source.. which i didn't.. i only altered the stock kernel so yes you will see the stock name for it..

op updated ;) #3

Right on:thumbup:
Will ride it out at work-what shall I test to see if its all good:confused:

the the default cpu_freq is higher than usual so drains battery faster :D that one was just like the test kernel, im compiling a new one as we speak and hopefully it does what i want this time lol
