Root [Kernel]{ZVD}Speed, Speed_Unlshd & Stock/Root Kernel(s)

on the new unleashed kernel, i have to reboot phone once in awhile to get data working..and everytime i go to settings/wireless networks/mobile network setup i get force close of process.android.phone..and it doesnt go away unless i pull the battery

yeah im re-doing the kernel now, gonna pull it from op untill i get the new one working right.. gonna need some testers.. when that time comes LOL

cool beans yo. ill refrain from flashing my back-up till your done. if you need a tester hit me up. also, since im kinda lazy, im still on 2.5 beta..does this effect the new kernels performance?

Don't know if you noticed, but when I flashed the new kernel it changed the LG boot logo you have on 2.5. Don't really care, just thought you might wanna know:)
 
Success!!! Got the gvn's & frequecies to stick :D only issue is, they only stick when you use "poer off" option, then boot the phone back up, for some reason it doesn't seem to work when just rebooting.. i believe it works this way with the other kernels as well... everything sticks if you power off.. not sure what else i can do about it :/
 
works great so far, waiting for tablet to charge up enough tosync it via bluetooth ..no force cloisng when i select mobile networks, so thats good..also just noticed you updated 2.5..downloading now...

edit..maybe off topic, but..with this kernal and the last overclockable kernel i used, my phone would freeze up and restart if i went over 1500
 
Just flashed 1.1 kernel bt still force close when trying to pair with my wife's. esteem still a very ROM and kernel

So i tried this trick with the original unleashed and it worked BUT the stock freq was changed to the default and as soon as you change it, it goes back to ondemand.

Gonna see if the results are different with the new one.

yeah there's a flaw with the gvners.. even though a power off and reboot does re-apply the desired settings, as soon as the screen shuts off the damn thing goes back to on demand.. did it for me with PK too so i dunno how to fix it..?

Yeah i see what your talking about. Ive personally always liked smartass2 better than ondemand. How hard would it be to make a "one off" kernel with smartass2 the default?

haha i been trying to set smartass2 as default.. just not working.. well i did on one of em, compiled like 20 at this point :p
 
What does 2.5.1 have to do with web access? When I go on facebook in pc mode it goes back to my home screen. But fb seems to be the only site its doing that on
 
ok the kernel is bad.. gonna be some time till i get things right... i finally have it perfectly dited from stoc/speed to adding what i want.. but i missed 1 tiny stupid thing and brok OC, so now max is 1024 again lol, once i get it ironed out i promise you will all love it!! starts up like a champ!! no lag time ;)
