if you are on 2.2 there really isnt much variety...its voodoo or nonvoodoo...if you are on 2.1 thats a different story

I'm running 2.1 update 1...
All the 2.1 kernels will have fully functional everything in terms of mms, etc. Most will tell you to run as much undervolt [uv] as you can to save on battery. In which case imnuts are very popular. His come in voodoo and non-voodoo as well.
If you want a mix of uv and oc [overclock] nemesis2all's are popular too; but his are voodoo only.

Oh man....I'm not on 2.2. Scared of sod.....wish they would release the ota and sauce so the devs can make it better. I like my dl09 sc 12/30 setup. I LOVE the bln blinky thing. Amazing! Lol

sod = sleep of death?

If so Ive never had that issue and even if I did its nothing a battery pull wouldnt fix.

Yes, sod=sleep of death. I've never had one either. Just like any other issue you hear from those with the problem not the masses who have no issue and are happy.

Agreed. 2.2 is the only place to be if rooted. Even if technically a 2.1 kernel is more tweaked out than the 2.2, the overall package favors 2.2 head and shoulders

I had SOD twice in first hour I upgraded to 2.6 voodoo. Now back on EB01 deodexed.

While phone was working, I loved SC2.6, but I couldn't have phone shutting off on me to pull battery every 30 minutes.

Don't know. Maybe it was "restore apps" via TiB, but at over 50+ apps, that's why I purchased license. Maybe it was freezing launcher since i use LPP. Just don't know.

No. Actually just restore missing apps with data.

I'm thinking of trying 2.8 voodoo now. Which file do I need to delete from voodoo folder since I was once on voodoo?
