Kick Ass Boot Animation

The only way I have change the resolution is in the desc.txt . file in the boot animations before loading it on my phone .
 
man thanks for all the help but no go. ive managed to change the desc files but cant rezip corectly. i even went to youtube and followed every step and still no go. i downloadded call of android tried that by reboot back to recovery and system wont find the zip. lost. do anybody have a direct link for a workable formated boot animation i would happyly donate. with the complete directions. idk maby im dumber than i thought. but i have managed to root and other things on my own. i just mad i cant get this one. soo tired of the stock reboot screeen

You've gotta set the zip to "STORE" when re-zipping .
 
tried and still stuck but i seen a way on youtube where you go to recovery mode and flash it that way. but every time i tried it says that" { failed to open / sdcard/update.zip} no such file or directory" what does that mean and how can i fix. cause this seems like the simplist way for me to change the animation. thanks for your time serously.

well, idk... I have never flashed a boot animation via recovery mode, always did it using root explorer. heck when i first started making my own boot animations i was using boot animation changer to import boot animations. Its only 2 bux then u can import pretty much any animation with a click and thats it. Also, no problem. Forums are meant for helping people who need help out.

That is on phones with a custom recovery perhaps, the prevail does not have one yet.
 
i must be off. cause i bought the changer tried it and no go. imported changed it rebooted and still stock. i must be one of the slowest ever lmao. i have know idea what to do

real player has a converter and to change the boot up sound u have to convert .mp3 or .what ever format your sound is to .wav and when u put it on your sd change the .wav to .snd then move the .snd file to system / etc and reboot your phone.
