Kickstand

More ingenious is that the dock won't work since 65% of TB owners will probably have an extended battery. ;)
 
I even use the kickstand when I don't have the phone sitting on a table. I find myself opening it up and having it sit between two fingers to make it even easier to hold the phone. More stable feeling, IMO.

I was a day 1 EVO guy, and I have to say the kickstand is the most underrated feature and the greatest smartphone invention ever - I wouldn't move to VZW for my wife to get the iPhone until the TB came out with the kickstand. Greatness. :D

Bahah, yeah. I have a friend that has an Evo, the little itty bitty kickstand is a joke on that phone!

I don't trust myself. They should have left the middle area of the kickstand open to allow some sound to escape. I guess google advertising takes priority :rolleyes:

Instead of a few holes or just an open spot, imagine how sexy it would have looked if they used a water jet and had "with google" etched out of the kickstand! Or even HTC etched out would have looked cool
 
The EVO 3D will get an HTC case with a big ugly kickstand and the charging port will be on the wrong side:

I tried this right away and it is really helpful! Now I feel I must share something in return.

So, for all you TBers who want to landscape kickstand and charge at the same time, here is the solution. I'm gonna have to come up with a good name for this, maybe I'll call it......"the mudstand"


You're gonna laugh at how simple this is.

For the guys talking about how it is on the side think about it if it was on the bottom.. You wouldnt use landscape because it would be too uncomfortable (for me at least). Its really not that big of a deal for me though
 
Saw the subject of this thread and thought for sure you guys were talking about me, since that was my nickname in high school.:eek::D
 
I think the Kickstand was a great idea. I am sure HTC is going to implement it in future phones, but with the improvements others have suggested, such as not having it interfere with charging, not placing it over the speaker, etc.
