Root Kings unleashed r5 question

No, Im at choose zip from sd card.....the Kings format went fine , when I went to flash the last step. It says "cant open/sdcard/download/kingsrom-unleashed(bad). That was the last step and the most important, as it was the actual Rom. what to do now???? How can I get a good file on my sd card from here??? Dont leave me.....ahhhhh. lol

cant open /sdcard/download/kingsRom-unleashed-R5-final.zip (bad)

not leaving you. lol. return to the main menu and select usb-ms toggle. this will give you access to your sd card from recovery. go to you computer a download kings again as you may have a bad file previously. tansfer the file over to your sd card. on your phone press power to disable it. then go back to "flash .zip from sd card" and flash the file you just tranfered over. hopefully that works.
 
Im stuck can you help??? Read my last 2 post it will explain....please, I'm lost....I think I need a new kings unleashed r5 file?? I dont know how to get out of this menu and how to get a new file.

Select return to get back to the main menu and select backup/restore then restore and select the back up you just made. Unless you have your computer back, then do what ocean said
 
Thank goodness, Thanks soooooo much!!! Now I need a good kings unleashed file....any ideas where to get it now???? I'm ready to start over .....lol. I cant believe I feel ready to do it again.....you guys made it seem easy. So I need to go and delete that bad file off my sd card.....get a new file somewhere. Im not sure I will have enough room to do another nandroid backup. I dont need to back up again do I?? OMG....I feel like I can do it now!!!!!!!!! you guys are the best....would not have tried without you guys. Anyone got a good file???? LOL

Don't need another back up yet that one is saved on your sd card. Is your card that full?

Ocean linked the download for you. Make sure when you download it ends up the size it said it would be. Don't bother renaming it either.

After your download you can go start at step 6 again
 
I'm a girl, but right now who cares???? lol.....My phone restored perfectly :). Yea!! I downloaded the last file off a site like that...hope its not the same file...anyway to tell?? Do I need to do another nandroid back up since I just did one??? I hope not... Thanks

I have faith you can do it :). And now you are learning to navigate recovery! And that back ups save your a$$ :) hiccups happen, have a good back up at all times
 
no need to do nandroid as you already have one. it could have been just a bad download so long as the file is the same you should be good to go. i got it from the site from the xda thread so i'm assuming this one should be good to go.

Thanks, lol. I'm gonna have a 2nd go after a shower. So glad you guys talked me into manually flashing, feel like I can handle trying again. Yes, that back up saved my *ss. Now I'm not nervous. I can't thank you guys enough. I'll be trying again in 45 mins. Keep checking my post later just in case.lol. Really, thanks a lot for all your time.
 
lol backups are your best friend. just remeber that whenever you make changes to your phone always make a nandroid backup cause you never know when things will go wrong. keep us posted and you know where to ask if you have any questions.

Hey can you tell me what you selected when you made a back up? Clock work does everything, you have choices with amon ra. We need to discuss this briefly, but it can wait till tomorrow. Good night...
 
Ahh , I am going to try again in awhile, running errands doing laundry etc...lol. Probably do it in the next hour. I have downloaded a new file of Kings R5, hoping this will work this time. Are the Kings unleashed a type of gingerbread? Thanks
