Root KiNgxKernel #6 HAVS

For those that are testing right now once u have everything setup the way u want to can we get some battery use screen shots? Thanks in advance.

yeah it seems like he needs to polish and refine a little bit. But definitely something to keep an eye on. I['m hoping to see netarchy incorporate the HAVS code into his kernel.

I just came from XDA and Cyanogen just came out with an implementation of AVS into his newest Kernel 7.2.Things are only getting better!

he is compiling #7 as we speak.

with #6, my battery essentially flatlines with the screen off, impressive

some people are getting sicknasty results, like 17% drop in 15 hours. its definitely worth a try. note that setcpu does not play nice with it, use overclock widget instead

im refreshing his thread every 5 minutes to see if #7 is up yet :D

#7 is out:

Kernel #7

- Added new CPU Governor - 'Interactive Governor' thanks Mike Chan @google
- Still using Conservative Governor
- Now overclockable to speeds up to 1.26Ghz
- Bluetooth tweaks (double check that bluetooth works for me please)
- Even more undervolted
- Wireless 'n' support
- Switched to 'cfq' scheduler
- Open VPN Modules
- Other things I will add

R u guys wiping anything before installing.Coming from a a different Kenrnel I know I should but I'm on lazy mode today, so is a full wipe required?

wipe not required. i went ahead and did data and dalvik anyway.

This thing FLIES. OCing to 1.26 causes a reboot, but i'm doing fine at 1.22

I'm gonna flash Fresh and then try it out as it doesn't work with RC2.Can't go past 1.22 either.

Yes that's what I'm running.I flashed #7 and can't go past the lock screen.

I bet CM6 requires it's own custom kernel to run... If I were running CM6, I'd stick with the kernel that's included in the ROM, or only flash kernels made specifically for CM6.
