Root KiNgxKernel #6 HAVS

I've noticed another glitch introduced when I flashed 4.1.x netarchy kernel. If I try to switch input methods (keyboards), my touchscreen locks up. I have to standby the screen and turn it back on to recover.

Looks like netarchy release 4.1.3 and then pulled it due to OC issues. Time to try king's kernel :)

Thanks - just saw I made you answer the same question twice (I _promise_ I looked, just didn't see it).

I was using pre4, went to pre6 (as side panel says, I'm on netarchy 4.1.0) - and it's not working.

I have something borked - probably need to wipe cache and re-do...
 
Which kernel r u guys using with the newer Fresh?I didn't wanna flash yesterday to give Cyanogen another chance to shine but after 8 1/2hrs my battery is down to 31%,downloaded newer fresh ROM,about 30min total in phone calls,about 10min posting on here,8 txt,3mms.That's been it and my battery just went down 3% more.I really like Cyanogen but is not doing it for me.Funny thing is that I'm running his AVS Kernel so,go figure.
 
1.15mhz is the best I can get with king#7 running quadrants w/o auto-reboots. stock rom. FPS is good as expected. 53fps @ 2-3stdev.
 
1.19 is stable for me, happy with that. i love this community. king comes over and introduces HAVS, and boom within days every dev's kernel has HAVS. happy with kings for now till the next big thing comes :)

well i just got my 10% notice. i am down to 8% using fresh 3.1 and netarchy-toastmod 4.1.2.i am OC to 1.12 (cant figure out how to get to 1.19 using setcpu or overclock) i probably could have gone another 12hrs until charge, but work has a weak cell signal and i dont have the pswd for the wireless network. i have had wifi, gps, and background data sync on the entire time. this combo works great for me. yes, id like a faster droid (who doesnt ;) ) but id rather have a little bit better battery life than a little bit more speed!
 
Netarchy has released 4.1.4. Details:

Notes for Revision 4.1.4
- The beast responsible for the ridiculous overclocking instability at *any* speed beyond stock has been severely beaten and castrated by rabid naked bunnies (without anesthetic)
- Update scripts redone in the interests of making sure people who have had issues flashing the kernel in the past can do so
- The conservative governor has had some more tweaks to give it better out of the box performance, but you are free to set ondemand as your governor in setcpu if you wish. (If you want to migrate to ondemand you'll also need to set it as the governor in your setcpu profiles)
- The clock frequency table is fully opened up (re-detect frequencies in setcpu to see them) As always your mileage in overclocking may vary, but for some perspective, I ran 1152 through many loops of neocore and quadrant just fine.

People are still having trouble overclocking his HAVS Kernels.....-__- He even said he might take out HAVS -__-

im using setcpu and here are my settings. i have found if i turn any one of these options to performance, my evo locks up and either reboots or i have to pull the battery.

so you don't go below 384? any reason? I like your battery temp one. I have the same >50C condition. Only thing that's triggered that so far is about 1 hr of Nav use while plugged into a 1000mA car charger.
 
He Jest released a new Version of BFS thats seems to be playing well with my Overclock...Gonna see if i can break 1600 in Quadrant

nope. had a lot of lags when @281. especially when the screen was off and i woke it up.
