Help knox container removal

Knox is a security vault that is a Samsung feature: it drives the Secure Folder. Anything placed in the Secure Folder is isolated from the rest of the phone: it has its own camera, gallery and any apps you install are separate from your other installed apps. It's like having a phone within a phone! Knox is very useful for separating work accounts from personal stuff on the same device; or storing things that you don't want anyone else to get to. That said, it is not removable. It's not hurting anything by being on your phone., even if you don't use it.

I know that the container is harmless, but the stuff that is installed in it are effecting my phoe

I, too, am wondering what you're trying to do that you believe is hampered by Knox. Nothing in the Knox vault (Secure Folder) should affect any aspect of your device. As a Samsung phone, I assume it came with Knox security so it's designed to work. If you feel Knox is having a negative impact on some aspect of your phone, I would first suspect whatever you're trying to do is conflicting with Knox; and you might want to try something else.

I understand than about Knox what I am saying is that my girlfriend open a container with a different Samsung account (not mine) and installed something into it and it is eating my battery and data and I am trying to figure out how to remove whatever it is she put there
Don't care what it is don't want to know just want it gone

Welcome to Android Forums @Allen Stilwell :)

The new "Knox container" is most likely due to a firmware update released on January 22, 2021. That would explain why a a factory reset didn't remove the additional knox data from your Samsung.

To turn off automatic updates go to phone setting and look for something like "system updates" and turn off. Also, carriers force automatic firmware updates, like it or not. :(
